The Human Transition Test

Before an institution adopts a technology, one question decides most of what follows: what happens to the human beings if we do this?

This is a structured review of a real decision, not a quiz. In about fifteen minutes you will describe the transition you are considering, answer concrete questions across twelve dimensions of human consequence, and receive a Human Transition Report you can take into a board meeting, a council session or a planning retreat. The test is not anti-AI. It does not assume every job should be preserved, or that capability should be slowed. It assumes only that the people affected deserve to be part of the plan.

How it works

  1. 01

    Describe the decision

The technology, the human activity it changes, how many people it touches and how soon.

  2. 02

    Cross the Human Threshold

Five questions that decide more than the rest combined — displacement, consent, appeal, dependence and children.

  3. 03

    Answer across twelve dimensions

Concrete questions about what you actually have in place, adapted to your sector.

  4. 04

    Receive your report

A score out of 48, your three highest-priority risks, required safeguards and a 90-day transition plan.
