Biography
William Henley writes about the human consequences of the artificial-intelligence transition: work, purpose, participation, education, wisdom, and the question of what a person is worth in an age of capable machines.
He is the author of the forthcoming book The Human Foundation and the founder of the platform of the same name, an emerging project devoted to keeping human questions at the center of the AI conversation.

Personal philosophy
The argument is not that machines should be slowed, but that people should not be measured by them. A society can build extraordinary capability and still choose to organize itself around human development, contribution, and dignity.
Humanity does not need to defeat artificial intelligence in order to matter.
